The crypto space is filled with opportunities and risks. Scammers are constantly trying to steal your private keys and crypto. To avoid getting scammed or hacked, we highly recommend following these simple rules to remain safe in the crypto space:
- If you can, use hardware wallets like Trezor or Ledger to securely store your cryptocurrency.
- Never share your private key with anyone! Keep it secure and private. This key controls access to your crypto funds.
- Always set unique and strong passwords for your accounts. A strong unique password helps protect against brute force attacks and leaks
- Do not connect your wallet and approve any actions at any unsolicited airdrop. Crosscheck any contracts you interact with, thieves can preapprove your funds for tranfer at this stage! .
- Do not send ETH or BTC to any unsolicited airdrop or giveaway request. Legitimate airdrops will never ask you for funds upfront.
- Use virtual machines (VMs) or sandbox environments to test and use custom wallets, especially if you're uncertain about their security.
- Activate 2-factor authentication (2FA) wherever possible, especially on exchanges and wallets. This adds an extra layer of security to your accounts.

- Be ware of phishing (Deceptive) sites: Always verify URLs before entering your wallet information. Bookmark official sites and avoid clicking on suspicious links.
- Regularly update your wallet software: Make sure your wallets and browser are up to date to protect against new threats.
